Neuroseed Clones

The Neuroseed Initiative

The Fall of Nations

The world did not fall to invasion by foreign powers or beings from beyond the stars. It collapsed from within.

As nations turned on one another, humanity unleashed its final deterrent—the Cicada N1 virus. Bioengineered as a battlefield solution, it was designed to reanimate enemy corpses, turning the dead into living shields. But the virus evolved faster than anticipated—mutating at a rate one hundred times greater than its original strand—and swiftly escaped all control.

What followed was extinction in slow motion.

Like all living organisms, the virus sought only to survive. It seized the dead, drove them forward, and attacked anything that still breathed. Bullets to the head proved useless. Fire only strengthened it. Each infected corpse hunted living tissue, merging flesh into flesh as a means of preservation. From this process emerged grotesque amalgamations—distorted beings driven by an insatiable need to remain alive.

Humanity’s population collapsed to mere thousands as the C.H.U.M.s spread across the globe.

In desperation, the remnants of civilization launched the Neuroseed Initiative—a final attempt to reclaim the world. Within the fortified Neuroseed complex, humanity’s most advanced technology was repurposed to create soldiers where none could survive naturally: cloned defenders engineered to fight the morphotypes.

Each seed clone, marked by a numerical designation etched above the left side of the forehead, represented hope built on sacrifice. The first generation was created with incomplete genomes. Their bodies lacked proper detoxification systems, and most were never meant to live beyond five years.

They were not designed to endure.

They were designed to buy time.

Contagious Hostile Undead Morphotypes (CHUMs)

In FLESHBOUND, humanity crossed a line it could not return from. What began as engineered advancement became a biological catastrophe, spawning morphotypes—monstrous entities that absorb human bodies into ever-growing masses of living flesh. The world didn’t end overnight. It was slowly eaten.

The Stalker Variant

A morphotype that is faster, nimble and more vicious than the original mutation. These morphotypes only conserve primal biological needs such as hunger, and the need to survive.

The Screamer Variant

The original mutation. Composed of multiple bodies.
